Company Policy & Info
Ordering Information:

Upon placing your order you will receive an order number at the end of your order and you will also receive a confirmation email. If you receive an order number when you submit your order we have received your order. All orders are processed in the order that they are received. Please allow extra time on orders for custom made items like candles, embeds and molds (See Custom Orders). After your order is shipped, arrival time will vary.

Occasionally we may have errors in the pricing of certain products. If an order is placed for a product with an error in the price, we reserve the right to cancel the order or the product that has the pricing error.

Custom Orders (candles, embeds or molds):

Because the candles, embeds, kits that include embeds and molds that we produce are custom-made, we must receive a financial commitment before we can begin work on your order. We will accept a mailed personal or organizational check, money orders, credit/debit card (Visa, Master Card, Discover and American Express) We do not ship C.O.D. Failure to pay for your order in a timely manner may push back the delivery date of your order or necessitate rush charges to meet your delivery date.

Gelluminations is not responsible for any delay in order delivery or any rush charges incurred due to a delay in receiving payment. Please allow 7 to 10 business days for custom orders. Custom orders that have more than one dozen of a single item will require a longer lead time, please allow 15 to 30 business days, this will be determined by glassware availability for candle orders.

 
Payment Information:
We accept payments in the form of Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, PayPal, Money Orders and Checks. We do not ship orders COD; we do not offer credit terms or Net 30 credit accounts.

We are not responsible for delays in order processing due to declined credit cards, errors in credit card numbers or waiting for PayPal checks to clear. If your credit card is declined we will notify you as soon as possible regarding the problem. Paypal orders will ship once payment clears Paypal. Even though payment has been made from your account through Paypal, they do not release the payment to us until it has been cleared by your bank. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at any time for any reason.

Your credit card is charged at the time you place your order. We cannot modify the order amount, discounts or shipping once you have submitted your order. If you have any concerns please contact us prior to placing your order.

If paying with an eCheck through PayPal, your order will not be shipped until the eCheck has cleared, which can sometimes take 4-5 business days. If you want your order to be shipped ASAP, please remit funds via credit card, instant transfer, or from your PayPal balance.

All checks are verified through Check Pro, $30.00 minimum service charge will be added to all returned checks. This establishment will seek civil damages pursuant to Iowa Code Section 554.3513 upon dishonor of any check.

Orders that have been processed can not be changed or cancelled. Any cancellation of an order that has already been shipped or returns will be charged a 20% restocking fee and shipping charges will not be refunded. All refunds will be issued as an in store credit for returns.

Refused or Undeliverable Orders: You the customer will be responsible for the original shipping charge, as well as the return shipping charge on packages that are refused or undeliverable.
Order Discounts:
We do offer coupons for discounts. You can receive those by signing up for our newsletter on the front page of our website. We also have the coupon that is valid posted on the front page of the website. If you are using a coupon code, it must be entered at the time the order is placed.

Coupon discounts can not be combined with any other offer and are only valid during the time stated. Coupons can not be used on items that were placed in shopping carts before the coupon was valid.

We will not apply discounts to orders that were placed before a coupon was valid. Coupons must be used online and at the time the order is placed. If a code is not working for you please contact us before submitting your order as we will not make adjustments to order totals after an order is placed.
 
Shipping Information:
Shipping and Handling Rates Our shipping and handling rates are intended to compensate our company for processing your order, handling and packing the products you purchase and delivering them to you.

A tracking number for your package will be emailed to you upon shipment of your order. Please check your email for the tracking number before calling to check on your order status.

All orders shipped are insured, with signature required on larger orders. All packages leave our warehouse in good condition. Our responsibility ceases upon delivery of our goods to the carrier. When you receive your order, please check the package for damage such as melting or breakage. If there is damage notify the carrier immediately and get a claim number. Please contact us with the claim number and we will have the package picked up and ship out a replacement package. We do not refund money due to damage caused during shipping, you will receive a replacement order.

Please do not miss your delivery. Fedex shipping time varies from 1-5 business days, depending on your location. USPS Priority Mail is normally 2-3 business days. If the carrier is unable to make delivery for any circumstance other than our error, you will be responsible for the cost of re-shipping your package. Any packages returned to us due to customer refusing delivery will be billed for the shipping charges incurred, plus a 20% restocking fee.

If you wish to have Express shipping please call for shipping rates, all express shipping orders must be phoned in so we can guarantee the shipping times and prices. For all orders shipped Next day air, 2nd day air and 3 day select, there will be a $5.00 rush fee. If there is a problem with the shipping of your order after it's left our possession, you will have to contact the shipping company. If you pay for Next Day Air, 2nd Day Air or 3 Day Select and the package doesn't arrive on time, you will need to make a claim with UPS or Fedex to have your shipping costs refunded.

Any of our fragrances with a flashpoint under 200 degrees will need to be shipped ground, as they cannot be shipped by air.

*Please note that our shopping cart only figures shipping for orders being shipped within the United States. For international orders and all orders out of the continental US please email or call for correct shipping charges. We will send an email stating the shipping options for international orders, if we do not hear back within 2 business days we will ship the via the most economical option. Shipping Charges inlcude handling fees and insurance fees.

If for some reason you need your shipping address changed after your order has been shipped, your credit card will be charged an $8.00 address change fee that we incur from Fedex.

Busy Season:
Our busy season usually runs from August through February. During this time, orders may take longer to process and ship. Please allow extra time during the busy season to receive your order. We cannot hold orders for out of stock items during busy season.
Special order bulk fragrances may take 3 weeks to arrive in our warehouse during this time, so please place your special orders plenty in advance! Large special orders require a deposit, and cannot be cancelled.
Back Order Information:
We mark items out of stock as they become unavailable. Due to some customers leaving items in their shopping carts for extended periods of time, sometimes an item will become unavailable and the item may not have been updated. If an order is placed for a product which is out of stock, we will ship the rest of your order as soon as we can, and when the back order items become available we will ship those out to you with no additional shipping charge.
 
Privacy Policy:
You are guaranteed that your name, address and email are protected. We do not share this information with other companies and information is kept strictly confidential. When you place an order with us, you are automatically added to our newsletter for updates and coupon discount notices, which you can unsubscribe from at any time if you wish. Otherwise your email is only used by us for order confirmation and contact purposes.
 
Return policy:
We do not accept returns on products without prior approval. Please call for a return authorization. Unless products were shipped on our error, we cannot accept returns on fragrances, bath and body products, waxes, gels, fragrance beads or liquid dyes due to the nature of the products and regulations of the FDA. We also cannot accept returns on candles and embeds due to the fact that they are custom made for each order.

This policy is for your own benefit and protection and so we can ensure the high quality of our products. With this policy in effect, you can rest assured that the products you buy from us have not been contaminated by any outside sources.

All items must be returned within 15 days of purchase. Products that are returned must be in original packaging and unused. We will not issue a refund on products that have been used or partially used.

Unless our error, a 20% restocking fee will apply to all returns to cover any re-packaging costs, credit card fees and labor incurred. In store credit will be issued, unless the shipment was our error. Unless there was an error on our part you are responsible for the shipping (both directions) on the returned items.
Satisfaction Guarantee:
We want you to be satisfied with your purchases, and will do our very best to accommodate you in every way we can. If you are not satisfied with a purchase, you may return it for an in-store credit towards your next order (excluding all non-returnable items as mentioned above). Fragrance oils are not returnable due to sanitary reasons for your protection, so we encourage you to take advantage of our 1oz. sample sizes. We cannot reimburse for materials used in testing products, such as fragrance oils, wax, or any other candle or soap supplies. Testing is a necessary part of candlemaking, and is the responsibility of the consumer.

Printed catalog:
We do offer a printed version of our online catalog, however, by only looking at it, and not our website, you will not get the full effect of what we have to offer. We only recommend looking through our printed catalog (instead of our website) if you only have limited use of the internet. You can print off a copy of our online catalog by going to our printable catalog page. If you would like us to print a copy for you and mail it to you, please contact us and let us know.
 
Liability Disclaimer:
All of our products are offered in good faith but without guarantee. Due to the variety of industries served, products are sold without warranty of any kind. Purchasers will, by their own tests and evaluations, determine suitability of such products for their specific use.

We sell sample sizes of products so you can test the products to see if they are suitable for your use. We assume no liability for damage and/or injury resulting from the use of products supplied by our company. Under no circumstance will we be liable for direct, indirect or consequential damages resulting from loss of use or profits arising out of, or in connection with, the use/suitability of products or the delivery time of products.

While we test our products, we cannot make any guarantee that these products will agree with everyone. Should you not have the same opinion of a scent throw please keep in mind that we cannot test in each and every wax. Instructions or tips we offer are from our own personal experiences or from our testers. All of our products are used in our own candle line and have only been tested with our own products. We cannot guarantee that these will work in your circumstances. As per our terms and conditions, once a package has been received we can no longer vouch for the contents. Therefore, we do not accept product returns. All prices and policies are subject to change without notice.
